The Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants would like to invite you to join us at our 1 day Controlled Substance Education Program (CSEP) on December 12, 2015. MAPA has applied for a total of 10 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME for this event. The event consists of 10 hours of controlled substance education which is required by the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure (MSBML) to obtain and maintain a DEA license in Mississippi. This is the only MSBML approved controlled substance education program for PAs in the state. Final agenda and further details to follow.
In order to obtain prescriptive authority to prescribe controlled substances in Mississippi, the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure requires the Physician Assistant to first attend a board approved educational program prior to applying for prescriptive authority of controlled substances.
You can register for the member price by joining MAPA for an annual membership fee of $100. Please see below for details on how to join.
